Angeles Hematology/Oncology serves the greater Los Angeles area with offices
in downtown Los Angeles and in Glendale. We provide consultations in hematology
(blood disorders) and medical oncology (cancer).
New Patients are seen by physician referral only. Our goal is to provide compassionate individualized treatment using the most recent proven advances in cancer care.
Los Angeles Hematology/Oncology Medical Group physicians have been in private
practice since 1976. Our newest physician member Dr. Bagdasarian joined
the group in 1999.
We participate in clinical research through the Southwest Oncology Group and
Kenmar
Research Institute.
The Los Angeles Hematology/Oncology Medical Group is pleased to welcome two new physicians – Dr. Jason S. Ho and Dr. Nubar Boghossian.
Dr. Ho graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University and obtained his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California at Irvine and his fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the City of Hope National Medical Center and Harbor-UCLA. Dr. Ho is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology. He has conducted research in the area of breast cancer genetics and received a 2006 ASCO Foundation Merit Award. His work was recently published in the journal Cancer Epidemiology and Biomarkers. Dr. Ho joined LAHOMG in July 2007 and will be based at our Wilshire office in Downtown Los Angeles.
Dr. Boghossian has trained at some of the world’s finest medical institutions. He received his medical certificate and qualification from the world famous Karolinska Institute Medical Board in Stockholm, Sweden. He completed a transitional residency at Lulea, Boden and Harads Hospitals in Sweden. Dr. Boghossian completed his Hematology/Oncology fellowship at Maimonides in New York. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Medical Oncology. Dr. Boghossian joined LAHOMG in March 2007 and will be based at our Glendale Memorial office
